Kon-Tiki Krabi

Established in 1999, Kon-Tiki Krabi is one of the Andaman coast’s most experienced and highly regarded dive operations. A PADI 5-Star IDC Centre based in Ao Nang, they’ve spent over 25 years introducing divers to some of Thailand’s finest Andaman sites — and the reviews speak for themselves. The Operation

Kon-Tiki runs two purpose-built dive boats — Tiki Star and Tiki Legend — departing daily from Ao Nang to a rotation of the Andaman’s premier sites. Group sizes are deliberately kept small, and the overall pace is relaxed: no rushed briefings, no production-line mentality. Coffee and tea are available throughout, lunch is served on board, and the crew are described consistently as friendly, fun, and safety-conscious without being heavy-handed about it.

Dive Sites

From Ao Nang, Kon-Tiki reaches sites that few dive centres can match for variety:

• Phi Phi Islands — the classic Andaman day trip, combining vibrant reef diving with dramatic karst scenery
• King Cruiser Wreck — an 85-metre car ferry scuttled in 1997, now one of Thailand’s most impressive wreck dives at up to 30m
